Bruce Edstrom received a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Grace Theological Seminary under the direction of clinical psychologist Lawrence J. Crabb, Jr., Ph.D. and Dr. Dan Allender, Ph.D. Subsequently, Bruce served as the Assistant Director of the Counseling Services Department at Dallas Theological Seminary where he provided training for small group leaders and pioneered the intern program for the Seminary's Counseling Services Department.

Presently, Bruce directs the ministry of the Center for Biblical Counseling. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Bruce currently offers supervision for LPC/LMFT interns as well as mentoring for Christian leaders/missionaries. He serves as the personal and family coach for L.E.A.D. Ministries for the Center for Christian Leadership (D.T.S.) and also as part of the National Staff Counselor Team for The Navigators.

Bruce speaks regularly about relationships and spiritual growth, having over 20 years experience in counseling and leading small groups, and 30 years experience in mentoring others to know Christ deeply and follow Him. His clinical training and experience also encompass a broad spectrum of issues which include:

  • sexual struggles
  • marital conflict
  • gender and identity issues
  • premarital counseling
  • abuse issues
  • parenting problems
  • adolescence problems
  • depression and emotional struggles

Bruce and his family live in the Dallas area.
