Bill Burns is an LPC-Intern (#75543) and is currently under the supervision of Ken Quinn, M.A., LPC-S (#17509). He received a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University.

Bill also earned an M.Div. at the Texas campus of Westminster Theological Seminary. For the past 8 years he has been a resident faculty member of Redeemer Seminary in Dallas, Texas, where he teaches Systematic Theology, New Testament Greek, Pastoral Theology, and leads a men’s group. He did doctoral research on the meaning of humanity created in the image of God. He has served for 12 years on church staffs, including 5 years as an ordained minister. Prior to that, he served with Campus Crusade for Christ for 7 years in Orlando, Florida, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and Austin, Texas.

Bill speaks regularly about relationships and spiritual growth, having over 25 years experience in mentoring others to know Christ deeply and follow Him. His ministry experience and clinical training encompass a broad spectrum of issues, which include:

  • premarital counseling
  • marital conflict
  • men’s issues
  • sexual struggles
  • gender and identity issues
  • abuse issues
  • spiritual growth
  • pastoral struggles
  • anxiety and emotional struggles
